OMG! Harper is being preceded by a Cirque du soliel style aerial acrobatic act! I've never seen such a thing at a political event - like how fun and energizing!! I wonder if Chris Angel will make him appear on stage!

In fact, at the Liberal Leadership Convention in 2003 that elected Paul Martin, we saw a similar acrobatic show. If I recall correctly, it was the same night we paid tribute to Jean Chrétien. We were also treated to a performance by 1950s teenage heartthrob Paul Anka.
Ahhh, the things political parties can afford when they're in power...
